I Knew Him Well
When someone enters your life only as a friend, who helps you, then helps you repeatedly (!) simply because he believes in you and what you have to contribute in the world, it is overwhelming. It is very much like knowing a most caring angel. Indeed, my cup did "runneth over”. Knowing how few of us put into practice what we pay lip service to, my friend was quite an example of what each of us is capable of, but few aspire to doing or being. He has transitioned to the other side now; but I can still feel his high level of caring, and I know that he was God sent. I can only pray that he knew how thankful I was and am, for his friendship.
